A Winters Tale

A Winters Tale

You rose upon the wind you whispered to the sky
You kissed the ground with your winters kiss and all around turned white
The coolness of your ardour laid her down to rest, until in spring you breathe life back in and her dance begins again
The sky dulcet blue and bears the hue of the coldness of your breath
The trees bleak and bare but beneath your stare are quietly at rest
So lay with me... underneath.. your quilt of feathered ice
While the north wind blows and the winters snow paints the landscape a pearly white...
